Four Audi models earned the highest scores in their categories, according to the newly released Strategic Vision 2010 Total Value Index.

Audi has once again raised the bar with regard to body manufacturing. In the scope of the 12th International Car-Body Benchmarking Conference, the Audi A8 surged ahead to win the Euro Car Body Award – the world’s most distinguished award for innovations in body manufacturing. Over 500 experts and a jury of specialists gave top scores to Audi’s top-of-the-range model.

The full-size A8 sedan embodies the Vorsprung durch Technik for which Audi is renowned. The brand now presents the new top version of its flagship: The long-wheelbase A8 L sets standards for luxury, dynamics and efficiency. It will debut in fall 2010 with five engines, including the powerful twelve-cylinder with 368 kW (500 hp).

The new Audi A8 is the first car in the world to offer an optional factory-installed WLAN hotspot for wireless Internet access. Passengers in the front and rear can simultaneously access the Internet through the car’s integrated WLAN module and via UMTS, using up to eight terminal devices such as laptops, Apple iPads or netbooks.

The A8 L W12 quattro, with a long wheelbase and a twelve-cylinder engine, sets new standards of luxury, dynamism and efficiency in the top automobile manufacturing league. The Audi A8 L is being launched with a twelve-cylinder engine, but by the end of the year will be available with all the engines currently offered for the A8.

The all-new 2011 Audi A8 luxury performance sedan took top honors in the prestigious EyesOn Design awards Tuesday at the North American International Auto Show.

Today at CES, Audi and NVIDIA came together to announce the integration of NVIDIA GPUs in all 2010 Audi models equipped with the third-generation multimedia interface system along with technology advances to provide even more sophisticated graphics in the years to come.
