65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards
Over the weekend, Audi of America capped its most ambitious sponsorship of television’s Emmy Awards in the three years of their relationship, and it’s difficult to argue with the timing – or the results for the brand.
Sunday’s telecast of the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards on CBS delivered the telecast’s largest audience in eight years, early reports indicated on Monday. And the actress who also starred in a new ad for Audi that was aired during the broadcast, Claire Danes, won her second consecutive Emmy.
“The whole weekend was a win for Audi,” summarized Andrew Lipman, General Manager of Communications for Audi of America, who was on site in Hollywood for the company during Emmy-related activities and the broadcast.
